BUT....you have to return to work.
Going back to work after maternity leave is the most stressful thing for most mums, new mums especially and now daddies get it too.
As an Image Consultant mums going back to work and professionals wanting to get ahead make a big percentage of my clients.
So what do you do to get ready?
1. Talk to yourself reminding yourself why you have to go back.
2. Stop feeling guilty, its not your fault and you are not a bad parent, it just has to be done.
3. Go to the salon like 3days to going back and get your hair, eyebrows, nails fixed, this will help you transition better. when you feel good, you look good, you work good.
4. One week to going back, go through your work clothes and find the ones that fit and the ones that don't push them to the back of the closet, this will help you know if you need to go shopping or to readjust some clothes.
5. Start wearing heels around the house and remind your feet how they felt in them.
6.Get fitted for a new bra.
7. Leave Baby and Nanny or at day care for an hour every day the last week before you leave, to help ease the transition. remember you, baby and nanny are all transitioning.
8. Let the care giver or day care know that you will be calling alot, so to please keep the phone near and fully charged.
9.Remind yourself that you don't need to call every 20 minutes, they are fine, calling 3times will do.
